Purpose & Requirements

Renovate basement for 90 years old house. Remove the existing frame and finishes to accommodate the new design.

Expectations

Spacious basement with large bathroom, laundry room, and built-in wall unit

Challenges & Solutions

The existing frame, ducts, furnace were removed and reinstalled with new. All walls and floor were in bad condition, concrete patching was done. Knob and tube wires replaced. A couple of design options proposed based on the client requirements.

Materials & Elements

All HVAC, plumbing and electrical were redone. New walls constructed and finished based on the proposed layout. The new bathroom was created, all walls covered with wainscoting, tiles at the bathroom and large laundry room, carpet on the floor, custom wall unit built and installed in family room.
